Thai Muslims Raise Fund to Help Gaza
The Faruq School, affiliated to the center, hosted the event on Sunday, according to IQNA dispatches.
More than 200 Muslims took part in the fund-raising program.
It was addressed by Feizi, head of the department, who talked about the situation in the Gaza Strip and the importance of the issue of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque for the Muslim world.
The department is active in providing humanitarian and relief aid to Muslim societies in Thailand and other countries needing help due to conflicts or natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, etc.
Thailand is a country at the center of the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia.
Muslims are the second largest religious group in Thailand making up about five percent of the country’s 70 million population.
Gaza has been under intense attacks by the Zionist regime of Israeli since October 7.
